I am facebook friends with some people who I went to high school with - some of whom are really weird. I want to de-friend them, but that just seems to mean.
And I too wish my brain would shut off sometimes... like at night when I want to go to sleep.
I kinda look forward to and dread next week's Spring Break. A break from my routines, even blogging, but dread coming home to an unwatched Google Reader. Yikes!
For some reason my high school class generally doesn't care about keeping up with anyone. I've only been able to find the extreme extroverts and no one that I actually hung out with.
Isn't it funny how people come out of the woodwork on Facebook? It's like they think we are suddenly best friends even though we never spoke in high school. Weird.
The weird thing about Facebook is that I don't think there's any reason for a high school reunion anymore. I know all I want to know about these people, simply by spying via Facebook. Some people are dumbies by actually trying to re-connect. Idiots, I tell you, idiots.
My best friend and I have always said we are the normal ones - it's everyone else with the problems! At least it makes us feel better, even if it might not be true.
I'm the forty-something mother of a teenage boy and a black lab mix, married and living in the Pacific Northwest where I grew up.
Hubs and I lived on Maui when we met and we often dream of moving back some day.
In the meantime, I write about life. A little of this, a little of that. I love humor and probably complain too much. But that's just because the world around me isn't 'normal', like me!

You mean there's an ON switch for my brain??
My brain seems to be stuck in the OFF position....maybe we could combine forces and find a happy medium?
cracking up w/ the FB notes! So funny! Love the one about unanswered prayers. LOL!
I have FB but rarely ever use it.
Now about that phone....I gave you some advice.
