Own Business

This guest post from Doris Dillon

Starting my own business was a big decision and one I didn’t take lightly. Moving here was tough but thankfully when I went to the business administration they gave me a lot of good advice about who to talk to and what to do exactly to make sure I was off to a good start when it came to getting my business off the ground. They talked to me about the type of technology I need and who I needed to work with to secure my legal issues. I thought about hiring a couple of contractors online to avoid paying the state taxes which are really high but as it turns out that won’t really be the case. I didn’t know a thing about how to run a business and I’ve learned a lot in the last six months – it’s hard to imagine how naïve I was a few months ago but I’m just about ready to open the doors and get this little company of mine off the ground! I can’t wait!
