So Stasha's giving us a $1,000 and wants a listicle of what we would buy. Sounds easy, right? I thought so until I started making that mental list and realized just how fast I could go through $1,000. Thing is, I'm so darn practical... well, you'll see...
1) New running shoes.
2) New short sleeved shirts. I'm completely desperate in this department. I have to be able to work in them.
3) New jeans.
4) New pants for work.
5) New casual shoes.
Is there a theme going on here? Okay, a few things that are a little more fun:
6) A massage.
7) A mani/pedi.
8) Cell phone upgrade.
9) New throw pillows for the sofa.
10) A beautiful bouquet of flowers for Stasha for the $1,000! *wink*

I need a pedicure so badly, I'd almost spend a thou for that. I happened to notice when the kids were here this weekend and I went to the casino with them in my flip flops. OY. Not pretty.
Girl I hear ya on the clothes. I am updating my wardrobe as well piece by piece..
I am equally practical! I can't help it though. Money is too tight. But I do like your few fun splurges.
What a great listical! I'm not sure I should participate -- I'd just put it toward the wedding. (BOOOOORRRRING.) I like your list much better.

Massage. Those are the best. I had one this weekend using a gift certificate I got for a Christmas present. Oh my gosh. I always leave thinking why don't I do this more often? Hope you get some of your wishes....
So nothing cool like a pet monkey or a Komono Dragon??? How about a night in Vegas. After all it is "free" money right?

The plight of a practical mother, eh? I had a hard time being frivolous with PRETEND money. I'm still laughing at myself over that one.
