- Just A Normal Mom
- My best friend and I have always said we are the normal ones - it's everyone else with the problems! At least it makes us feel better, even if it might not be true. I'm the forty-something mother of a teenage boy and a black lab mix, married and living in the Pacific Northwest where I grew up. Hubs and I lived on Maui when we met and we often dream of moving back some day. In the meantime, I write about life. A little of this, a little of that. I love humor and probably complain too much. But that's just because the world around me isn't 'normal', like me!

Aren't you grown? You don't have to blame hickies on the curling iron anymore. Just saying.
I was ironing something once and ironed my bare thigh. I have no idea how I did. To this day my mom claims it never happened. The nerve.
I need to show this to Middle. She wants a curling iron so bad but I think, she's too young. This should help my case!!! :) Hope it doesn't hurt too bad.
On the bright side I can see great curl and bounce in your hair in the picture. Beauty aint easy...(That's a play on the Pimpin' Aint Easy rap song BTW).
I aint that dumb to actully write aint.
