Things I'll Miss And Things I Won't - Monday Listicles

Link up with Stasha at The good life for Monday Listicles. It's a different topic every week - follow along and join in. And I'll keep saying it - look at her beautiful pictures while you are checking out her site.

This week's topics is inspired by Nora Ephron's Lists of What She Will Miss and What She Won't. It was suggested by MannahattaMamma. I really enjoyed reading Nora's lists, and with all kudo's to Nora, I did keep my lists on the short side, and didn't even bother to number them. I just went with the first things that popped into my head!

What I'll miss:
Chick flicks
Summer
The quiet of a snow fall
My husband and my son
The joy my dog exhibits when I come home
Blooming flowers
Chocolate milkshakes with my son and husband

What I Won't Miss:
Adult acne
Cancer
Periods (yes, I said it.)
Politics
Mosquitoes (can you tell it's summer?)
Facebook posts meant only to get someone to ask "What happened?"
Shaving my legs

What will you miss or not miss?

Oooohhh chocolate milkshakes and blooming flowers. LOVE those! And I totally agree with the "Facebook posts meant only to get someone to ask "What happened?"
Annoying.
You're a good listicle maker, my friend. Now have a good Monday!

Vaguebooking is the worst, but I would gladly read a thousand inane status updates if I never had to pluck/shave/wax again. Wait, I already read a million inane updates so I guess that trade-off is not going to work. Ellen

The good thing about periods, they usually end before life does! (And that may be the weirdest blog comment I've ever left!)

I've seen a lot of Facebook and mosquitoes. I think Facebook is worse-you can slap Mosquitos!

Whoever said women love grooming-lied! Cause all of us will not miss it!
Dogs are so happy to see us. I walk across the road to check mail and when I walk back down the driveway he jumps like I just came back rom a 6 month journey...

I'll miss dark chocolate. I won't miss the jiggles caused by the dark chocolate (and many other yummy things.)

I love gentle snows. Oh how you make me pine for the Midwest!

Love the one about the Facebook posts...no kidding, that's so annoying!
And hey, wanted to tell you that you would be a perfect Public Myth rep. You should contact them and let them know you work with athletes. Anyway, thought you'd like to know that. Now I have to go on Facebook, and say something tragic so people will ask me, "What happened?"

who would miss periods? Seriously?! Aside from the whole hormonal thing and weight gain during menopause etc...seriously miss them? Naw.....

You had me at chocolate milkshakes. Now I'll have them with my kids & hubby, as long as we each have our own. I'm not in the mood to share!
Great list!

Shaving should be on my list of won't misses too. Just one of those chores you gotta deal with! Great lists... short and to the point.

Right by you on the dogs part! I'm always tripping over Cowboy, Layla, and Petey when I walk in the door. They're always happy to see whoever is visiting.

Your list made me happy.
Except for the periods. I can do without those.
Whoever came up with the slogan "Happy Periods Always" did not own a vagina.
Just sayin
