"Things" I Do In My Home
Link up with Stasha at The good life for Monday Listicles. It's a different topic every week - follow along and join in. Stasha's a great host and always has interesting things for us to make our lists about.
This week's list is 10 Things In My Home. I do love my home, let me start by saying that. I'm lucky to have a home where I am comfortable, that is filled with love, where my daily needs are met. But homes are like the never ending project, am I right? I could list 10 things I want to change in my home. But instead, I'm going to change it up a bit. Here are 10 things I DO in my home:
1) I write in my home. This blog. My journals. Books I may or may not ever publish.
2) I play chef in my home. Not terribly often, but when I have time I like to experiment with new recipes.
3) I workout in my home. We have a weight bench (though I hardly use it because I prefer more functional exercise), stability ball, bosu, free weights, dumbbells, barbells, resistance bands, etc. No excuses!
4) In the same vein, sometimes I run or ride in my home. Treadmill and bike trainer (you just plug your regular bike into the stand and screw the resistance bar against the wheel) make those both possible if the weather is too nasty to get out.
5) I dance like nobody is watching. They better not be watching!
6) Every once in a blue moon, I actually scrub the place.
7) I do laundry like nobody's business. I find it hard to believe how much laundry I do considering when I look in my closet, I have nothing to wear.
8) I laugh in my house. My husband is a comedian. Or so he thinks. Seriously though, he has a great sense of humor. And The Boy is taking after him. They make me laugh all the time. (And so does my crazy dog!)
9) I get too comfortable in my home. Sometimes I need to remind myself to get out and enjoy the world around me!
10) I love, and am loved in my home.

PS - I don't sing much in my house. I save that for the car :)

Whew, sounds like you're well equipped for working out! I loved using a bosu ball in a stroller bootcamp class I did last year, but haven't got much in the way of equipment like that myself...
I would love to add to your exercise equipment collection. See number one on my Listicles this week and you will understand. LOL
I LOVE you listicles, all of them! Your home sounds like a wonderful place to be.
And the PS? nice touch. I sing in the car too. It's freeing.
I love the spin you put on your list! I can relate to almost all of your things except for the exercise ones. *sigh* Maybe I should try a treadmill too! :)
Ah! #7! So true:) I love my home too, it's hard o leave some days.
You sound like you have got one amazing home there. This was an awesome listicle to read.
I love the feelings of comfort that your list evokes. And I totally relate to #9. It just takes getting out of my pajama pants. Before noon. ;)Ellen
I like the spin on your list! I have the exercise setup too, it's so awesome! Especially when the weather is bad.
Very nice! I don't work out in my house (or anywhere else, heh) but all the rest - me too!
You are so good to ride on the trainer. Makes me crazy. And I tore up a good tire that way. Glad to know you have such special place to nest.
Fun list! Number 5 made me laugh out loud.
Your home sounds like a wonderful place to be. #10 is all we need. Once your house is filled with love all else falls in place right?
Love the twist to the list. LOVE!
I sometimes feel too comfortable at home. I have always been that way since young, so maybe it's me? LOL With that being said, I want to have a nice and comfy house because I live IN it a lot.
Sounds like a busy home! But with a lot of fun. :)
No wonder you're happy in your home! :)
i'm watching...
muwhahaha....
totally kidding.
I do that too. I even sing. I hate when the husband comes home unexpectedly while I'm jamming to New Kids on the Block with headphones on.
He doesn't understand the cool.
Home is absolutely where the heart is and your description make the difference between house and home!
Laughter is a must! :D
I LOVE #7! I always have laundry but seriously have nothing to wear LOL And all husband's think they are comedians :) Good thing they make us laugh
You know what they say, there's no place like home. Nice list
Better start making sure your curtains are closed so no one spies on you!!
What is it about laundry that never ends?!
Great listicle!
