This week we're talking purses. 10 Things In My Purse to be more specific.
I don't know about you, but there are times when I reach into my purse and come out with things I didn't even know were in there.
For instance:
1. A 40% off coupon for JoAnn Fabrics. From Christmas.
2. A baggie of almonds. Seriously, getting caught starving without a snack makes for a cranky Ally.
3. A $15 gift card to Cold Stone Creamery. Something I certainly do not need to eat, but it was given to me for my birthday - last October. I got caught out wishing for it two different times before I put it in my purse. Haven't been craving or near Cold Stone since.
4. Several weeks of old grocery lists.
5. Two tampons. Miraculously, wrappers still intact. Those are always fun to accidentally pull out in public.
6. Eight cough drops.
7. Reading glasses. Shut it. They only made their appearance in my purse in the last month or so. Call me on it and I'll deny it.
8. A coffee shop gift card with 87 cents left on it.
9. A stash of $1 bills for lottery tickets.
10. The little HP card that tells me what kind of printer ink cartridges I need because I can NEVER remember.
It could be worse. I could have told you about the tweezers I carry in there for the random chin hair that only shows itself in my car rear view mirror.

Ha i have the tweezers too so don't feel lonely.. Ugh I don't know what all is in my purse. I used to not carry one for YEARS.. nothing. Because I got tired of finding everyone else's stuff in it but mine.
Figures that once you put the coupon in your purse, you don't want it, but as soon as you take it out, you'll find yourself at Coldstone again. *sigh*
LOLOL! Same here on the grocery lists! I must have 20 or so in my purse. And the tweezers? That's a must have! Chin hairs are not my friends...
I'm the worst with receipts. It's like they go in and never come out again. I swear I think this is the smallest amount of junk I've had in my purse. Ever. But it is new. I maybe should have pulled an old one out. But that could have gotten scary!
My car has a small cubby hole just under the left hand dashboard vent. Which I think was put there by the female designers without telling the men, specifically to hold the pair of tweezers I keep there. Because everyone knows the best place to see unwanted stray facial hairs is in bright sunlight while waiting for the stoplight to change . . . .
I've absolutely had a tampon or two make an appearance when not invited! My purse is the junkiest of junkyards!
Great list. I have all sorts of gift cards in my purse that I never remember to use...even though it is free money : )
Car plucking is the best. The lighting is SO much better. You can't catch an errant hair on a ray of light in the bathroom.
You shoulda told us about the tweezer type stuff :D
I am mostly impressed I think with the Cold Stone gift card. That would be gone in a flash for me! :)

I only tweeze in the car, the BEST light!!
You made me laugh with the $.87 on the gift card. I have about three that I'm afraid to throw away because I'm not sure they are spent and I never think to check them online. Ellen

Took me many, MANY years before I started carrying readers. Now they are EVERYWHERE in the house and beyond. Ha!
I think come Wednesday I am joining you in the reading glasses club ;) I have pulled out a tampon from my bag in front of strangers more often then I care to remember...
